I hope you guys are aware of this offer might turn out to be bad shot in your own knee and end up in whatever how many players spamming all kinds of blogs and forums just to get (2x)50FreeDs per day and a ticket to the weekly 10k tourney.
Spamming for a website is gonna do more damage to the site reputation and search engine ranking than not having enough backlinks. And this offer definitely will result in people leaving a lot of Spam Posts and Comments.
It’s not the amount of backlinks, it’s the quality of the backlinks that counts.
Besides of that, since Google’s Panada update placing tons of more or less worthless or spun/re-written articles on whatever 3rd class blogs or any of the countless article farms (directories) will do you no good either.
Using some of the current income generated from the banner advertising and paid affiliate (“sponsor”) premiums and to place targeted advertising for NPP on other (high traffic) sites or to create a good managed Adwords campaign with the right choice of keywords definitely will be more successful and cause less damage.

And how do you suggest we do Adwords when google does not allow adwords by gambling sites unless the site is a fully licenced casino – which we are not as we are free i.e., the very USP that allows us to be who we are also stops us from using such methods – and even if we could so you imagine we could buy clicks for say “free online poker” in competition with the likes of Pokerstars etc who are able top spend multi dollars per click due to the very high lifetime value of a converted player vs a NPP converted player value which is peanuts, the economics don’t work.
This link offer is a test idea to see how it works. Spammy comments etc will not get rewarded so we would hope that such things will be nipped in the bud. We are VERY aware of Panda-penguin – we’re lost nearly ALL out SEO positions, so quite honestly nothing to lose in trying it. Income from banners and affiliate (premium affiliate take up is PITIFUL) is barely enough to run the site so pretty impossible to spend on such campaigns, as marketing manager I have a budget of ZERO dollars so I have to lever the resources I have – and that is the players plus the very small amount of time I can use to do my own SEO.
You should also have noticed that we are suggesting and trying to get players to put 150 word + articles on decent poker blog sites or even set up their own Bloggers etc – no there will not be many but those are are good will get rewarded and those that are not will be told no and told why.
