After a week we’d all rather forget things are now getting back in order again. While too late for this week the weekly Sponsors $10,000 FreeD is now up again for registration.

As you all know, last week we had a catastrophe. Basically the server blew up and managed to pass the corruption on to the cloud backup before it could be stopped. This was, to use the phrase, our bad, and we can only apologise endlessly.
We know that we have lost some players forever and that some will never forgive us, but have also been amazed, encouraged and humbled by the support and understanding we have received from so many players by word of mouth, email and on Facebook.To all of you who have given support either pro-actively or just stuck it in there waiting for the return, all we can say is thank-you so so much 
As we say on the Facebook posts we will be coming back stronger than ever now. Plans are truly moving to replace the cranky games software platform with the sort of system you expect from “real” money sites as well as add extra games like free slots, blackjack and roulette.
As a final note on the subject (for this post anyway) we are so sorry that some players lost FreeD in the screw up. 
The problem is that as we lost all the data utterly that there is no way to tell who had what at the crash time. Can you just imagine if we simply agreed to replace what people claimed was in their account at crash time?! We’d have everyone this side of Pluto coming to support claiming they’d lost 20k.
So, yes, really truly sorry to those of you who lost but there is simply no way round it unless you can provide ironclad, irrefutable proof of balance at the time of the wipe out – If you can then get in touch with support with your proof. And things like screen shots of balances with PC date stamps are not enough as they are so simple to doctor.
And to address some of the accusations we’ve had of us “stealing” the FreeD back. Not so – Apart from the fact that we would not do such an underhand thing, how could we? We, we don’t know how much there was anyway – it was WIPED! If you compare it to the Great Financial Crisis or the current economic mess in the EU with masses of virtual money being wiped out then that’s a not bad analogy – Nobody gets it, it just gets wiped out by the computers as if it never was! We know that this and anything else we say will never convince the conspiracy theorists out there but that is the hand on heart truth.
