Create your own look and feel for the game software!
After playing 20 out of 24 hours in a day at NoPayPOKER, you sometimes need a change. Now it is possible for any player
to create professional looking skins for the NoPayPOKER game software without knowing how to program. All you need to be able to do is modify
or replace one or more of the graphical elements in the default directory of: "C:\Program Files\NoPayPOKER\poker\resources\skins\classic"
So if you are interested in knowing what to do then read on...otherwise just ask the other players if they have any skins they want to share!

So what are the basic steps?

Create a new directory in the NoPayPOKER installation under "poker\resources\skins\" - you will see that there are already two directories there, "Classic" and "twister06".
You are creating a third, something like "C:\Program Files\NoPayPOKER\poker\resources\skins\MySkin" this gives you a area to put your new skin files. |

Copy all of the files from the "classic" directory into your new directory "MySkin" - OK, you're done! Well, not really, because your new
skin is exactly the same as the old "Classic" skin, and we know that is BOOOOORRRRINNNNG! |

|
Change one or more of the files in your new directory - Edit or replace the image files of your choice. Just make sure
to use the same file type (JPG, GIF, PNG etc) and name as the old file and you'll be good!
We would recommend downloading a fully featured image editor like Gimp which is free and well supported. |

|
Define other colors in the "conf.txt" file - Open "conf.txt" at the highest level of your new skin directory. At a minimum define the "pf"
(forground color) and "pb" (background colour) both use 6 character html colour codes. For more information see the

How do you use your new skin?
|
|
|
Now just start the game software - at the bottom left of the Game Lobby there are a bunch of buttons.
Hit the Preferences Button, which looks like a paper list. This will
launch the game Preferences. |

|
|
On the Preferences page go to the skin dropdown - This lists all of your available skins.
Your new skin uses the same name as the directory you created so in this example it will be called "MySkin". |

|
|
Relaunch the game software again - hey presto, marvel at your ingenuity and your new skin! |

|
Some things to keep in mind.

|
|
Change as little or as much as you like - you dont have to change every file, you can simply change one or two, so have fun and experiment |

|
|
|
Don't change any of the file names - this will crash the game software! The software only recognises the names used in the "classic" skin. You are simply changing the content of the files not the name. |

|
|
|
If you mess it up don't worry - There are two options, reinstall the latest software or go to the top level of your installation and open the file "savedprefs.txt", at the end of the data is the name of the skin you are using, change that back to "classic" and relaunch. |

If you like it, share it! - Zip up your customized skin and send it to Support
