What is Social Bookmarking?
Your bookmarks or favourites on your computer are sites you have chosen to save because you like them and want to be able to get back fast.
Social bookmarking extends this concept by basically allowing you to share your favourite sites with everyone else online via a social bookmark website which organises all the bookmarks into logical categories.
Some sites are simple lists of sites, others allow you to put up your own comments and keywords and get into like minded communities and forums. As you develop your social bookmarking skills you'll learn all about the different types of sites and find those you find easiest and fastest to use.
Social bookmarking is something millions of web users do so popular sites get a lot of bookmarks. Search engines like these bookmark websites and use them to help them decide what sites are most popular for certain types of subject.
So naturally we want as many bookmarks and nice social comments as possible - which is where you come in :)

How to do it the Normal Way
You’ll see on the left hand side of the NoPayPOKER.com home page with "Tell the world about us socialize 5 times for 40 FreeD". Then there is a list of some popular social bookmark sites underneath it.
The normal way is to go to a page on the site you want to bookmark, for example, http://www.nopaypoker.com (It’s best to bookmark several different pages so as to show some variety)
You then click on the bookmark services site you want to use over on the left side of the NoPayPOKER.com page.
That site opens up in a new window. Most of the time you’ll need to login. Once logged in you bookmark the page - Repeat x5 and claim $40 FreeD.
You’ll soon realize that you need accounts at each of these sites and that each sites works in a different way! Some, like Ask are very easy. Others like squidoo take a lot more work as you have to set up your own mini blog there...(oh and they don’t allow poker so don’t use Squidoo anyway…yeh I know we need to remove that one!
So it can take a lot of time and you may give it up there and then.
But don’t give up - There is a MUCH better way.
How to Social Bookmark the fast easy way with Socialmarker.com!
Go to SocialMarker a free site where you can manage all your social accounts in one place
- It works best with the Firefox browser. If you don't use Firefox get it now, free HERE. You can still use Internet Explorer it's just a bit more fiddly.
- On "How to use it" try to drag the small button to your toolbar. It’s very easy with Firefox. If you use Internet Explorer right click the button and on the menu that pops up select "Add to favourites" It will then appear in your Favourites menu.
You still need to set up accounts with the various social sites which takes some time but once done you'll be able to do your 5 submissions in minutes.
How to use SocialMarker.com
Play around with it. It can seem hard at first but once you get the hang of it you'll have no problems.
Example
- Go to a NoPayPOKER.com page and highlight a section of text by dragging your mouse over it with left button held down. No need to copy or cut.
- On the home page you might highlight: NoPayPOKER is the fastest growing community of free poker online. Join up and experience a unique and exciting free poker site where you pay nothing and we pay out CASH!
- Now click on the Socialmarker button or Favourites link in your favourites and it will open up a the Socialmarker site.
- Look to the top right of the page - do you see how it has filled the "Bookmark details" box in with the NoPayPOKER details. Neat.
- You may want to add some tags now. We suggest any variation on things like online poker, free poker, free online poker, poker freerolls etc.
- At many sites you need to add tags so be sure to add a few.
Now select sites to submit too
To get FreeD you need to do 5. There is a big list here, any 5 will do but at the start focus on the ones that get ticked when you click on the word "Best" and take 5 of them
If you already have accounts at any of the sites on the lists then that's a great place to start too.
Next - Time to submit your bookmarks
- In the far top right click the tab "Submit"

- Now you will probably not be a member of some or all of these sites but Socialmarker makes it easy by opening the registration page inside the Socialmarker site.
- Register for the sites. You may need to click on an email confirmation. This may in turn open up the site in a new window so you may need to go back to Socialmarker and login to the social site again.
- Yes I know, first time it is a bit fiddly but once done you’re good to do it time and time again.
Be sure to keep a record of your user names and passwords. A spreadsheet is great for this.
- After each submission record the page URL your post is on.
- I suggest you copy this to a Text or spreadsheet document...why not get real organised and do a spreadsheet with dates, sites done, URLs etc?
- Go back every day and do 4 more = $40 FreeD
How to get claim your FreeD
We need a link to each of your posts plus your user name - Here is where you records document really helps you out!
Raise a support ticket and put down the page URLs of your submissions plus your user name for each social site and the message "I am a Social Being" as the subject.
We will verify your submissions and credit your account. Allo 24-48 hours for this as it is a human checked process.
As I say at the start this is a bit more of an advanced web user way to get $FreeD but once learned it's a super easy way to get very easy $FreeD
